The product arrive fast and work good! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to be of high quality. *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2018* I'm not using these fittings with pex clamps. Although they say 5/8" the fittings are just a tad larger than 1/2" (pex sizes are different from normal plumbing fittings). So they fit very securely in 1/2" diameter hoses and I use a standard stainless steel hose clamps. Even though I am not double clamping these as is usually done with boats I have very good confidence that a single clamp will do the job because it takes less tightening to provide a water tight connection and there is less stress on the clamp. I will be using these on a fresh water system, but I'm in a salty seaside environment, so time will tell how they hold up to corrosion. Saltwater often eats the zinc out of brass making the fittings brittle.
