I was brought up that you usually pay about a dollar a watt for a true quality amp. These are priced great! Everywhere else your gonna pay double. Shop it I dare ya! It's not complicated to set up. Clean clear signal that will redefine your current subs.My application is a 2006 Peterbilt 379. It has a 550 Cat motor, which you can't even hear a the volume cranked! All mids are done up by Infinity. Component set, 6x9's, and 6 1/2 inch. And 4x6's above each door. I highly recommend JBL MS series amps to those looking for true quality! It's clean, pure undistorted sound. I was the first one in St. Louis to aquire a MS series amp, and am pretty sure IM the only one running a whole system of JBL MS amps. You just can't go wrong! There sleek and sexy looking with the digital read out, small in design. I have all them mounted on dimond plate panel tucked away in a closet in the sleeper. There to unique to hide under the bunk! So I would suggest these to anyone looking for quality sound.Thanks for reading.Chad HortonCEO of CM Horton Truck' N llc ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars tried to set it up the way the instruction say ... *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2016* tried to set it up the way the instruction say and it did not work according to the instruction there is no way to set this to factory reset even if you take out the fuses for a while to see if it resets itself nothing called jbl tech support and they can't tell me how to reset to factory default setting, so if you decide to buy one of these amp beware for it stays with the setting you set it at it stay in its memory and there is no way to clear the settings,for what its worth do not make a mistake during setup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Careful mounting *by P***X on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2015* I had a strange issue with this amp. Short story, I mounted the amp to the back of the rear seat of my car. This caused the rca inputs to short out randomly. I ran the supplied connectors parallel to the factory rear speakers. There was a short. I inspected and re-inspected the connections to the speakers and found no fault. Finally I unmounted the amp (thinking I would have to return it) and everything worked great! I suspect the back of the case is very close to a pin on the board or some connection involving the rca inputs. I have had no issues since and love the features and power output of the amp! Luckily nothing was harmed in the shorting of this install. NOTE: Do a rough unmounted install of the amp for testing purposes BEFORE mounting.
