Careful measuring and tiny cuts to make sure you have the perfect fit. Once it's installed though, it's heavenly. It really works. Must have a solid core door, don't even bother if you have a hollow core. ### ⭐ One Star *by K***M on December 27, 2016* This sound proof door kit does not work at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helps with noise. Door bottom install tricky. *by F***T on February 7, 2019* Does a pretty good job of reducing noise. Even when the screw side of the door bottom is installed flush against the hinge-side jamb, the whole door bottom is pushed away by about 1/8 of an inch by pressure on the screw when closing. So I ended up having to trim the inner aluminum piece about about 1/8 shorter than the outer piece. (Or you could trim the whole thing by 1/4 to 5/16 inch instead of the recommended 3/16 inch.)
