Southwire's SNM1214HH-WW ROMEX BOXJaw Wire Stripper, Dual Wire Cutter Strips both 12/2 & 14/2 Romex NMB JACKETS and 12 and 14 AWG Solid Wire. The wire stripper is proudly made in the USA and has a patent pending design. It strips both 12/2 & 14/2 Romex NMB jackets. This stripper features a large curved cutting blade as well as 12-14 SOL AWG single conductor stripping holes. The handles are double dipped and spring loaded for maximum comfort and torque.

Review: Careful how you cut - See some good and bad reviews. I find if you make the cut then regrab the sheath further down with the cutters not cutting through and pull off the cover it does an excellent job. Not marking the wires inside. Can reach inside boxes easily now.
Review: Only strippers I use now - I am doing a DIY project in my backyard shed wiring it to run off a generator. I always have issues getting the sheathing off of Romex mainly due to my refusal to use utility knives. These strippers are amazing, I have been using them for both 12g and 14g romex and it pulls the sheathing off perfectly. It also has 12/14g wire strippers includes and a hole in the handle specifically for making the hooks on end of wires for receptacles.. These have saves me a ton of time and we’re totally worth the investment. My only complaint was my own fault.. I was working at dusk and lights were getting low. I was cutting bare copper down and I placed my hand below to catch the clipped portion. When I squeezed the clippers, the sheathing stripper portion which extends out a bit on the sides got the palm of my hand and OUCH.. they are sharp indeed.. so now I make sure I have plenty of light and keep my free hand away.. no fault of the tool and avoidable if I was wearing gloves.

**Q: Hi there,   what size ( diameter) of bx or armored cable can this tool cut?   is it adjustable?**
A: Yes it is adjustable. It cuts 10/4 to 12/2.

**Q: will it cut mc 6-2 cable?**
A: It cuts the armor, not the wires.

**Q: Will this strip outdoor wire where the jacket goes around all 3 wires?**
A: No. Wire stripper is designed to be used with NM-B, 12-2 and 14-2 cable, with paper surrounding the bare ground wire. It will not strip UF-B cable.

**Q: will it strip 12 two with ground**
A: Yes, one side is for 12-2 w/g and the other is for 14-2 w/g
