You are able to twist side-to-side similar to an ice cube tray and remove the number of pods you'd like to use. You can also use a nylon spreader or butter knife to gently pop out a pod but be careful doing this with a knife as you don't want to accidently cut the product or yourself. **Q: Is the bottom microwavable?** A: Not sure about Microwaving. I pop mine out and store in freezer plastic bag, so can reuse them. Then put in a bowl or plate to microwave. **Q: Is this price for one?** A: Yes this is the price for one tray. **Q: What kind of pen is used to write what you are storing in them and can you wipe the writing off so you can write whatever you store the next time?** A: I don’t suggest writing on these. Já usei para congelar extrato de tomate, molho de tomate, molho pesto, ervas com azeite , ervas com água etc. É muito prático de retirar os "cubos" depois de congelados, fácil de lavar e vai na lava - louças. Tem um detalhe muito interessante, quando retira-se o produto congelado, o cubo congelado vem com a gravaçao em relevo da medida. Assim quando você vai fazer uma receita e precisa usar uma determinada quantidade de ervas ou outro tempero, você tem a referência de quanto tem em cada cubo. You need to be aware that these trays are not very flexible and are not intended to undergo the TWIST action normally applied to ice cube trays. I find that a minute or two after removing from the freezer I can gently flex the tray and because of the super slick surface of the pods, the frozen content slips out easily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small Portion Freezer container *by M***Y on Reviewed in Canada on 19 September 2020* I made pesto and put it in to the small containers to tablespoons each and froze it and I was very happy with that but when I came to try to get it out I could not get it out of the little slots, it was stuck. No way was I able to pop them out and put them in a storage bag as advertised.
