Everything nests together as pictured. We were looking for compact cooking equipment for an RV, and this saves space. The pieces fit together snugly, needing to snapped in, creating a small footprint in a cabinet. I hope they hold up to the rigors of traveling in a bouncy travel trailer. One disappointment-I didn't read the description closely enough, and I thought the set included a set of measuring spoons and I thought, "This is great! All the measuring tools I would need in one little stack." Not the case. There is only one measuring spoon. (It is both a tablespoon and a teaspoon measure; would be OK for liquid ingredients) It looks like it could be useful as a coffee scoop, but no other measuring spoons. (I was hoping for a 1/2 and 1/4 teaspoon as well. It was accurately described, and the number of pieces were correct. I just assumed the set included a full set of measuring spoons, because that would have made sense from a design and utility point of view. And I believed what I wanted to believe. I just should have read a little more carefully.
