It will fill a bedroom or a living room without issue, but it doesn’t do tremendously well outside or with other loud noises, however for its size that’s expected. Other speakers—JBL flips for example—perform better in the loudness category, but the quality is much better with the Stockwell. The bass is tremendous and can really bring it out where it goes unheard on other devices. The knobs also allow for customization as you swap through different genres. Visually, it looks and feels like a quality speaker. No cheap plastic. The frame feels like a durable rubber and the metal wire over the speaker is a nice touch. Even the handle (which is really straightforward to install) doesn’t feel flimsy. An underrated feature with this speaker is its charge time and battery life. You can go 8 hours on a low-to-mid volume and use less than half the battery. A full charge takes less than an hour.

A: No. Although the company is based in Sweden, this item was produced in China.

**Q: Can it be used with guitar or bass?**
A: Yes, that's my primary use, but you'll have to run it through a headphone amp.

**Q: How long does it take  for a full charge**
A: 5 hours for full charge. A 20 minute charge will give 6 hours of playtime. Total play time per full charge is 20 hrs. depending on volume.

**Q: Can this speaker be connected to a laptop and used for conference calls?**
A: Yes and no. Yes it can be connected as an excellent speaker but no it has no inbuilt microphone, you would need an additional external microphone. In any case, most inbuilt mics in bluetooth speakers are pathetic. You would be better off purchasing an separate external mic.

Not super loud, not for big spaces. That being said, the sound quality is really good for the size. I have not used the Bluetooth yet, only using the aux port for now, the main reason I bought this. Portability, check. Good sound quality, check. Good battery life for my needs. I bought this because Marshall is a brand I recognize, have for a long time. If it can stand the rigors of live performers (commercial long term use), I tend to like equipment that the pro's depend upon, then I will spend the extra money.
