I'm a true size 9, but often order a half/whole size up in open toe sandals in order to avoid the toes from being too close or over the edge. I also have a foot that is more on the slender/narrow side. With that in mind, the straps on the size 9 fit best for me, but the length in front of the shoe left my toes too close for comfort - not terribly over the front edge, but big toe was almost on the lip edge (returned these). The size 10, fit better in length (kind of long with too much room both in back & front), but the straps were way too loose - no way to tighten as needed (gave those away bc i used them & was too late to return). Waiting for the size 9.5 to arrive, but had to pay double what the other two sizes cost. Bummer & Boo! I'm hoping the 9.5 will be the winning pair though. Hoping the raised cost is worth it.
