The brother's first production site consisted of a 35 gallon kettle and a pump in the kitchen. Will buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great taste with a little heat *by R***X on September 10, 2024* Let's face it - jarred salsa will never match freshly made, and no self respecting connoisseur of salsa would argue that. But salsa is a staple food at my house and sometimes there's not time to make it fresh. Consequently I've embarked on a many year quest for the best jarred salsa that I can keep on hand, and this is one of only two I purchase regularly and in quantity. The other is Religious Experience "The Wrath," which is not for the faint of heat (see what I did there?).But this is about El Pinto, which is a very flavorful salsa, a somewhat chunky style, meaning the veggies are in larger pieces rather than a puree like some salsas. I have found some jars to be a bit watery, although it doesn't taste watered down. It's labeled HOT which is more of a creeper heat rather than one that smacks you in the face, so you can eat lots of it before noticing. I may have a higher tolerance than most for heat so it could be hotter and I'd not complain, but what's important here is flavor! The ingredients are natural, the peppers are roasted, and the taste is not ruined by the addition of artificial heat intensifiers like vinegar or capsaicin. I've also had the MEDIUM and it too is flavorful, just a bit weak for me, although maybe fine for others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Jarred Hot Salsa on the Market *by G***N on May 16, 2024* I spent some time in New Mexico long long ago, El Pinto makes a great hot New Mexican style salsa (fire roasted green chillies), sometimes a batch of the hot will be far spicier than normal, which I enjoy, but the regular hot spice level works. My extended family and I are constantly searching for better jarred salsas, nothing else has come close to date.
