I guess I thought Sandalwood smelled different because these smell like my Grandma but I was thinking it was a more masculine, maybe I was thinking Teek. I put 3 of these packets outside on the back porch (without the paper holder) and let me tell you, Not a single spider since has made their home anywhere on our back porch, it has been amazing. The smell after awhile doesn't have the pepperminty smell but the arachnids still don't come around and they are strong.
