This aluminium idli maker has aluminium handles to lift the idli plates ( no plastic so food safe ) . The outer lid handle is also aluminium ( no plastic at all , very good) . Just one minor problem. There few scratches and sharp edges of idli plates and few dents in idli shape moulds present. I am keeping it . The manufacturer could have / can do better finishing and improve the quality of idli plates .

Thanks Subaa ,the seller ,for this idli maker. Thanks Amazon. This aluminium idli maker has aluminium handles to lift the idli plates ( no plastic so food safe ) . The outer lid handle is also aluminium ( no plastic at all , very good) . Just one minor problem. There few scratches and sharp edges of idli plates and few dents in idli shape moulds present. I am keeping it . The manufacturer could have / can do better finishing and improve the quality of idli plates .
