My particular system uses a 2" x 20" x 20" filter -- a size that is not readily available from the "big box" home centers. This proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it caused me to research what "MERV" meant -- and I discovered that the filters carried by local vendors were of rather low quality in the level of filtration. As an allergy sufferer, I was pleased to be able to purchase a higher level of filtration that should reduce the allergens moving though my home's air handling system. These filters appear to fulfill my needs very well and were quite reasonably priced.In my home, the furnace is in the attic, and the filter is positioned just behind a grill in the ceiling of a central hall. The measurements of filters tend to be slightly less than the nominal measurement, which made installation a 'three hand' situation. (Solved by turning on the system fan, allowing the air flow to hold the filter in place while closing the grill that holds the filter in place.) The filter does not firmly contact the sides of the filter box, but the duct behind the filter is slightly smaller, so that in operation, the air pressure holds the filter against the duct giving an adequate seal.The filter appears to be sturdy and should preform its task without structure failure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great filters, Great price *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2024* I like the Nordic Pure filters because they for my system and come at a great price.
