The band wore out a long time ago but this product didn't exist then. I was always embarrassed about the flaking. Due to mine being white, when I scraped off all the pleather it was a disgusting yellow. This covers revived my headphones. Material is stretchy and smooth. Installing it took a minute. I'm not sure if these are specifically designed for VMODA or generic because they dont have cutouts on the side for the V. Nonetheless I just wanted something to cover the band so this is great.
