I have a few areas where the adhesive isnt as strong as it should be** A: This glue was created for the craft of apply Dotz. I don't know what kind of glue you are currently using, so I can't comment on if this glue is stronger, just that it is specifically for applying Dotz. **Q: Does it go on clear** A: No, it goes on white and dries clear. **Q: What area can I cover with 4oz?** A: I have used the 4 oz on several paintings it covers a lot of area **Q: Will this glue keep the picture shiny?** A: Because the glue is designed to dry sticky/tacky I order to secure the diamond art drills, I’m not sure how you would use it to “keep the picture shiny.” If you are trying to find a sealant to apply over the finished art, this would not be the correct product, in my opinion. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it, but read the directions *by on Reviewed in the United States August 4, 2026* This adhesive is great for diamond painting. I have only used it on coated cardboard so can’t speak to how it works with other surfaces, but it says it works on fabric, wood, metal, and glass. Just make sure you read the instructions. It says to apply a THICK coating and wait for it to turn clear before covering or applying the drills. I, of course, first applied a very thin, mostly clear layer, and immediately started trying to apply the drills. First the gems were sliding all over because it wasn’t dry, and then they wouldn’t stick because I didn’t use enough. What I didn’t realize was that when it “dries” it is at it’s max stickiness, so you don’t have to worry about rushing to get your drills on before it dries like regular glue. I ended up scraping everything off and starting again. Once I actually did it correctly it worked great! When I finished the project it was 24+ hours after applying and it didn’t lose any stickiness. Pictures show glue when it’s applied properly and perfectly clear once it’s dry.Even though you have to apply it thickly, the adhesive itself is thin and spreads easily so you get a lot of value for the 4oz size of the bottle. I definitely recommend over other adhesives. I tried using Bearly Art Craft Glue as well as Gem-Tac, and this is way better if you’re doing a large area. There is no residue on the gems after.
