There are no dog bones to wear, no drive cups to wobble. The extrusion process allows the shaft to be hollow and lightweight with internal splines that fit directly and securely onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies. If it's your 1st time replacing the shaft, look underneath the front shock tower and remove the retainer screw holding on the drive shaft. Then remove the 6 screws holding on the front end. Gently wiggle apart (there's a tab in the center you can't see yet) and remove the stock shaft. Screw on the 6888X, slide on the drive shaft on the front hub and as you slide the front end back on, align the shaft teeth to the rear hub and you're set. Screw back in the screws you took out and go rip. Takes about 10 minutes and it was my first time doing it. Don't forget your threadlock...metal on metal always gets it.
