I purchased them for that purpose as well but ultimately had to return them. You will need screws (not included in the package). If you have wooden chair legs, you can screw these in (though would be careful not to crack the wood), then they would work. Our chairs were metal so we couldn’t make it work. **Q: I wanted to put these on the bottom of a 3 x 5 buffet that I am putting in my bathroom as a sink base. The big reason to buy these as the carpet made the case sunk 0.75in at least and the pc exhaust on the bottom will suffocate the power supply which can be dangerous.
