Too tight. I assume it's because the pillow inserts are a solid foam. So, I used them on another set of pillows because I really like them. They fit ok on those pillows because they are just soft fluffy pillows. Wish these would come in a larger size so I could get some for the original pillows. The design is nice and country so that's really nice.
