You put the grill in the shade under a tree, the flame can jump and set your tree on fire. It is large enough to fit multiple steaks, hamburgers, etc. despite its compact size. I had a 14 inch grill before and it is amazing how much more space the two extra inches give. The only complaint I have is that the “shelf”the grill top fits on is very small and I can see how you could inadvertently flip your food into the charcoal. I love the ability to lock the top on when transporting. I do recommend using more charcoal than you think you might need to obtain a consistent temperature.
