I like more of an earthy taste... not nutty, sweet, or fruity and this coffee is one of my favorites. I tried it on a whim as I'm always looking for a new favorite. Started with several Ethical Bean and Kicking Horse blends. Only the LUSH ground was available for Subscription, so I begrudgingly got it instead of whole beans. To say it's one of the tastiest coffees I've ever had would be an understatement. It's strong without being too bold. The chocolate and fruit tones are aromatic and glorious. It's like waking up to a spring dawn every morning. If that sounds frou frou poetic, it's the kind of imagery this coffee conjures. "Lush" is actually a great word to describe the taste. Like a wonderful dark chocolate, it's like a wave that sweeps over your palate.I use it with an AeroPress with the mesh filter, so you get a little of the oil in the brew. Try it. Or maybe not.
