**Q: Is the surface rough or plain?**
A: Slightly grainy

**Q: Is this called canvas sheets also? Or there is any difference between this and canvas sheets?**
A: No these are paper .canvas sheets are made up of canvas(fabric) and those are generally preferred for acrylics and oil painting

**Q: Shall I use this water colour paper for colour pencils?**
A: Yes these worked fine for me

**Q: Is it suitable for oil colours?**
A: I doubt that as oil colour tend to seep thru the paper.but I am not full sure as I haven't tried myself

Very good paper for watercolor

This is a fairly decent paper for all kinds of watercolor techniques. It is not cotton but hold a good amount of water. If you are looking for too much texture then this may not be suitable. I use it for practice and suits me perfectly. Reason I dont order it frequently is because it is not on prime and with the delivery charges, it works out costlier than brustro. That is the only negative comment I have.
