My scalp got cold and tingly (just like it's supposed to), then I rinsed thoroughly and dried my hair completely. No oily look, completely manageable, softer than a kitten. Today I only shampooed and left out the Scalp Treatment -- my scalp and hair still feel soft and smell vaguely of peppermint, only minor itchy spots left to treat tomorrow. I believe you do not need to use conditioner afterward. **Q: How does this product look like? The inside liquid?** A: It is a thick white cream with little blue microbeads in it. It's like a deep conditioner/exfoliating scrub for your hair and scalp, and good to use when your scalp seems dry, flaky and tight and itchy, especially in the winter time. Yes it should help dandruff and more natural alternatives to chemicals in head and shoulders and tea tree in it may help stimulate hair follicles and help prevent or slow down thinning hair. But many of Paul Mitchell's shampoos do have it, so you're wise to double check! **Q: Is it good for oily scalps/skin? I keep my head shaved/hair closely cropped, suffer from "shiny head".** A: I don't believe it would make your head less shiny because this is like a moisturizing conditioner scrub scalp treatment, that would help in the drying winter wheater and Heat on indoors and when people get a itchy flaky scalp and have dandruff. The tea tree in it is usually good for people with oily hair though to help clarify the oil and fungal from dandruff.
