There aren't any "hot spots" which was a thing a lot of people in forums warned, which was nice.Only real thing to look out for is the polarity and the plastic mounting tabs. If you twist them onto the cluster as they're supposed to, it overshoots the contact point and they won't work, so you have to turn them back a bit. If they're still not lighting up, pull the bulb turn it around, and try it again and that should do the trick. ### ⭐ Almost caught on fire!! *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2021* I bought them they worked fine and where bright enough for what I wanted them for but after a few days later I would randomly smell a burning smell and It will go away after a few minutes and after that one started to go away and would randomly turn off and then back on. Then started to have fuses pop on me and now I was driving home after work and then heard a popping sound and I was like it’s a fuse I’ll replace it later and then it started to smell like something was smoking and saw smoke coming out of my cluster and instantly pulled over and looked through everything and if you want to buy these and risk your car catching on fire go ahead, not a product I would recommend just go get your self some original bulbs or pay a little more and get a better bulb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice upgrade for boat guages *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2021* Had to replace a gauge on my boat that had a red backlight. All my other gauges are old white incandescent backlights. Decided to upgrade all my gauges to these red LED replacements so everything matched and it is better for night vision. Just had them out for a night cruise and loved the result.Note that these (and all LEDs) only work with power flowing one direction. If you install them backwards, they do not work.
