Aesthetically appealing, white tubing, rose gold appendages...gorgeous! When I first saw this in the hospital I work for, I did a double take on it. It was lying on a table and I could not find its owner. So, I wrote down the manufacturer info from the diaphragm and searched it online for price and acoustic quality. I read rave reviews on it but was still a bit skeptical because the Littman I own in the same price range (less than $100) has terrible acoustics (I can't hear through it). I purchased the next level up in price for my Littman (more than $100) a couple of years ago, which works terrific--I can hear the universe through that thing. So, I risked it and ordered this MDF (less than $100) and was very very pleasantly surprised! It is true to its beauty, I receive compliments on it galore, and the acoustics? Yes! I can hear through it just fine! It does not provide the excellent sound quality like my Littman (over $100 price range) but it is far better than the comparable Littman (less than $100 price range). I also added a bit of rhinestone bling to it, which makes it appear even more elegant than it already does. I wish I could figure out how to remove pen marks from the tubing, however, but all of my scopes have the same problem. I tried just about everything (bleach, acetone, detergents, magic sponge, etc) but nada. If someone reading this knows how to remove ink marks from scope tubing please let me know.
