It is a braided cable this helps it last longer and keeps it from breaking, and if you know charging cables break pretty easy. Now as length it could be longer but it still does the job. I really like the color as it does complement your devices. The charge time I got from this cable was the same as another other charging cable I have. This cable is as any regular charging cable, the only thing is that it will last a little longer then normal.
