I set them aside and let them dry overnight. To my surprise, the next day after I came home from work they looked spotless. From a distance, my shoes look brand new, and that's in large part thanks to this cleaner. There is one small black imperfection on the outside of my shoe that I don't think will come out, but I think that was from the bar or me scrubbing too roughly initially when I was cleaning. All in all, I would highly recommend this cleaner and a good, soft brush, but make sure if you do get a brush you don't scrub too hard. Also make sure you pat dry after you're finished cleaning. But this product is not an industrial strength cleaner. It cleans light soil. You can't wait until the shoes are deeply marred with dark streaks and expect this product to clean all of the dark marks off. While I was at it, I used it to clean a couple of pairs of suede Toms also, plus some other leather and fabric shoes not pictured. This cleaned gently and effectively, removing dirt that I had not yet been able to get out using a wire suede brush and sandpaper from the suede. I followed the instructions to use only the foam and to apply it with a sponge. Then I followed that with a final fluffing with 80-grit sandpaper. My shoes look brand new! My only complaint is that it is hard to get the foam out of the bottle. When the bottle is full, there’s not enough air to get much foam. When the bottle is about half empty, it’s hard to squeeze the foam out.
