A: HI, Thank you for your question. Manufacturer advises "DO NOT use this unit on a wooden deck or on any combustible surface such as dry grass, leaves, mulch etc and place it no closer than 2 feet from walls during use." I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Not quite sure what this fire pit is made of but it’s very heavy to move into position when I want to use it.. it’s sturdy and lovely when lit.. not used it as a bbq yet but will in summer.. value for money and would recommend.

I was delighted to receive my fire pit. This has been perfect to be able to meet with people outdoors while adhering to guidelines.... I was concerned that it would be huge but this is a lovely size and fits perfect in the garden while giving off a good heat. A great buy !
