I tested myself can they bend and they did but very slowly meaning I had to use more strength for it to bend even more. This means that the sword won't be damage easily when it comes to combat. For example lets say if we were to clash swords with each other, they won't break. While I'm not sure what the material of the core is but these swords are still worth the price. The blade itself is only about 25 inches, with the handle and guard making up the rest.
