**Q: how many cubic feet per min does it move?**
A: Not sure abt CFM. But it extremely moves the air.  it makes an uncomfortable garage comfortable again.I love it.

**Q: Can this be used with plugging it into a car or truck?**
A: You may can but don't know. It uses a regular electric outlet to plug it into which is a 120 volts I believe to power it. So it may work on a truck or car. May need to use a power inverter.But again I do know .

**Q: Can anyone tell me the diameter (outside dimension of the housing) of the 2042?**
A: Fan housing 22in OD;  Add in stand and handle, total height 27 in, width 26 in.

**Q: Made in USA?**
A: According to the data sticker the unit is made in China.

I have spent years trying many fans for our bedroom. Wind tunnels and many other types, they were ok until a year later they quit. Our windows do not allow for air conditioners and I like my room cool for sleeping plus the white noise is important . Well i bought this fan and boy oh boy it is cool. Noise on higher settings is a little loud but on low it pushes the air nicely and not to loud .What i like most is the sturdy base . Not moving around as you use it at all. I will never go back to wimpy fans after going big with this fan. thinking of getting a couple more for other rooms . If you need to stay cool and get hot air out of a room this is your fan .
