Have put over 600 rounds through the gun since installing the pad, still looks and performs like brand new. I have read many other reviews, particularly the few negative ones, most of which are 2 or 3 years old. It appears this will not fit on a Magpul stock and is difficult to fit on some other brands of rifle. One trick I used, from another review, was to put on the bottom of the pad first and work it on from the bottom up. It went on very easily for me on my Oracle. High quality product, durable, looks good on the gun, very much worth the price! Review: It's awesome - I bought my son his first deer rifle and used the AR platform. The solid, non-ergonomic butt plate was not comfortable for him so I added the Limbsaver recoil pad. It made an amazing difference in both comfort and felt recoil which is a big deal when kids are learning to shoot. It fits great on the adjustable stock, which must have the 1/4" lip on the butt plate. I'll probably buy a couple more and an added benefit is that the soft rubber pad keeps the stock from sliding when I lean it against something! Definitely a good product. I use them on all of my rifles (12g through 5.56). It really makes a different in my shooting because I'm not as worried about the recoil, so I don't jerk the trigger. Instead, it's a nice, steady squeeze.
