Mat is speciall made from natural cane(beth) which gives cooling effect during summer hot. For best comfort always lay the mat on the mattress. The canes of the cane always be extinguished during the stalking or weaving process. buyer may cover the end point with cloth if necessary.

Review: Unique use for the mat: Handmade is the best - I got my carpenter to use the Assam patti on furniture, instead of using laminate. One coat of polish and a finishing coat of clear varnish gives this the most elegant and exclusive look. The quality of weaving the mat is very good and I feel we must go for handcrafted items wherever possible.
Review: Product delivered not as per specification - Quality of the product is not upto the mark. Moreover the width is 4 inches short. As per specification the width is 4.5 feet which is equivalent to 54 inches. But the width of the material received is 50 inches. We can not trust the supplier.
