The other tweezers have both points polished (bare metal) for the last half inch or so. This may or may not have an impact on functionality (don't know yet), but certainly does look weird. As a probable manufacturing/inspection defect, this lowers my rating by at least 2 stars and makes me wonder what else (less obvious) did they miss. The cloth pouch to retain the tweezers is a nice touch.UPDATE!!!!!iFixit got in touch with me and I sent a picture of the odd tweezer tip to them. They sent out a replacement. Have used the tweezers some at this point and very happy with them. Presumably others won't have the tip problem, so I'm upgrading to 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One good tweezer makes it worthwhile. *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2016* Only the wide tip tweezer is useful for me, and only because it has a good grip surface. This is very hard to find. The pointy ones are smooth and I have a dozen like that. They can pick up stuff sometimes but if they had a textured mating surface they would be far better. This set seems well made- the tips line up correctly with each other. It comes in a nice cloth pouch and includes plastic protective tip covers. BTW check the iFixit web site for some geeky thrills about fixing stuff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect tweezers for any small project. *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2016* I previously had purchased some inexpensive tweezers to try to build some metal models with, but they were way to flimsy, and they were as cheaply made as they were priced. I then came back to Amazon and looked around a bit more, and found these from iFixit. They are very well made, and they are exactly what I'll need to finish my small projects. I don't require the ESD coating these have at this time, but the coating itself gives the tweezers a better feeling in my hand, almost like it was rubberized for better grip.
