A difference in price for pu'er teas vs other traditional teas is partly due to where the pu’er tea leaves come from. ‘Wild arbor’ teas (or older tea trees that grow wild in forests) command much higher price tags than ‘terrace grown’ (or commercially farmed) varieties.
