I've used ink pens, paint markers, water color paints, oil pastels, glue and paper for collage, plus more. Hasn't bled through. The paper will get wavy when you do any water coloring but I knew that going into it. I don't mind since it's all just sketching and messing around. It's taken all different types of mediums really well. Pages are thick and hold up well. Sturdy binding and cover. Great color options.

**Q: Does pen bleed through the pages? Like can you see ink from the other side of the page?**
A: yes but it depends on the ink

**Q: do micro pens bleed through?**
A: They do not!  They work well on this paper.

**Q: dose this work well with alcohol  markers?**
A: Not really appropriate for alcohol markers. They will heavily bleed throug.

**Q: Is this good for sketching with pencil?**
A: Yes! It works great for dry media - the paper is nice and smooth. It is cream/off-white which some people are not fond of, but it takes pencil sketching beautifully

Love my little sketchbook. It holds up well but I don't take it out into the wild all that much. I love these! Great size, great color. Paper holds up well to dry media and gouache. Some markers cause a lot of piling. Watercolor will work but be prepared for lots of buckling. Tons of pages, great value.
