The silicone doesn't cover the entire handle, but that's actually kind of nice if you keep your utensils in a jar on the counter. The handles don't stick together in it and they come out of the container easier. These are pretty good sized too. The ladle holds nearly a cup and the turners are 4 inches wide with finely tapered edges.
