Is it Gluten Free or not?** A: I came across this question while answering another. I've purchased and used NeoCell products since 2013 when I first discovered their Super Collagen Powder. Glow Matrix does not contain gluten protein and has been tested by an independent 3rd party lab (the brand's national educator, Tim Mount, confirmed this). On the label, NeoCell states at the bottom, under the Supplement Facts panel, "***The wheat has been processed to allow this to meet the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for gluten free food." However, they use an OIL from wheat (which does not contain the gluten protein) called a ceramide which has been clinically tested to improve skin hydration. They acknowledge that Glow Matrix contains a part of the wheat plant and state, "Allergy Warning: Contains Wheat***". I hope this clarifies that wheat does not equal gluten. Glow Matrix can use the wheat plant and still be gluten free, both of which are on the label. **Q: Are the capsules suppose to smell like rant oil or do I have a bad bottle?** A: You definitely got an expired bottle.
