In my bfs culture (Albanian) they believe this deters negative energy which attracts bad spirits. Bought this with sage and turns out he caught the evil thing in our closet. He said it had red eyes and pointy teeth in a grin. He confronted it and it left and so far no bad has come to our home. Wether it works or not, I don’t care. It has brought us peace and looks great on the wall. It’s supposed to face the door to your home.

**Q: Which way is the evil eye supposed to face if it is placed in a window of a house? toward the inside of the house? or toward the outside? thank you.**
A: I’ve been looking for two. One hand pointing up (protection from evil) to put outside my door and one hand pointing down ( welcoming prosperity and good relations with an open hand) on the opposite side (inside) so that I can remind myself to welcome prosperity when I leave my home.

A: It's glass. I think you'll be very happy with it. Love mine!

**Q: Is it one sided? Or is the eye visible on both sides?**
A: It is only one sided.

**Q: Is the ring at the top large enough to hang this piece using an adhesive hook?  Or would an adhesive hook be too big to fit through it?**
A: Yes the piece is large enough and coincedently I used an adhesive hook as well.
