Thankfully any pink is great in my daughter's eye so that wasn't a big issue for us. The functions of the lamp are great, my daughter loves to turn it on before she goes to sleep so she can look at the stars. She enjoys choosing which color stars and whether or not she wants the stars to rotate. Wish the cord was a little longer but solved that problem with an extension cord.
