So I bought this set for my 20yo son's college apartment. He's an inexperienced cook, so I wanted him to have nonstick, and he requested "lids that fit," unlike my menagerie of pans. After 6 months, he says the set still works great. And I was due for an upgrade on several of mine, so I bought another set during a sale. These are even better than the first Gotham pan from years ago. They have heavy bottoms so they sit flat and cook evenly on my glass-top electric stove. The variety of sizes of pots and pans are perfect for my needs, and there's even a deep saucepan. The glass lids fit tightly and are interchangeable from pot to pan, so you don't have to juggle too many lids. And there's no chemical taste or smell like many nonstick pans emit. I haven't had them long, so I can't vouch for the "scratch resistant" aspect. But I did note that the item description says you can use metal utensils, but the paperwork that comes with the set says not to use sharp objects, so I'm afraid to use a metal spoon or spatula. Overall, for the price and versatility alone, these pans are worth owning. But the quality so far surpasses my expectations.
