If you're painting from white to this colour I would say you need two coats to finish it off. Better texture than the trade paint that is clumpy and hard to wash off. But this is very worth the money, drys within 2 hours just depends if you have the window open. Very nice dark colour. Best paint I have picked easy to put on the walls with a bursh. Our walls has a wall paper on so application couldn’t be as smooth but it is so easy to paint, dries fast and 2 coats results in a very good finish. I brushed the white wall with the navy paint by mistake and it was so easy to wipe it with a wet cloth right after.
