When I arrived home I had a very deep and nasty scratch and since I didn't think it was possible to fix, and a new windshield for these old trucks is VERY expensive, I just let it go. I was invited to a carshow in a few weeks, so I decided to give this kit a try, and i'm very happy that i did! I used my orbital polisher, a wool pad and a slurry of this powder/water and a little cutting compound. IT TAKES F O R E V E R to polish out a deep scratch on a large section of windshield, but it very much does work! Of course, I had to do all the other windows too and removed years of age and pitting.
