Review: Nail your carpet down because this will suck it up! - Okay, this was a replacement for a product I had used for a week and a few days earlier. I had ordered a Honiture 26Kpa £147 which was a good product, I did leave a good review but sadly the battery died so I choose to add some extra and get a better product. Why VAX ONEPWR Blade 4 Pet Dual Battery? I have no pets but have historically found that pet editions of cleaning equipment a just designed better and have better features. I read reviews and watched on YouTube etc, the Blade 4 was good but the pet edition has TWO batteries for a little more cash, this is well worth the investment. So, I give the battery a charge and have a try (remember that I had been using the other vacuum twice a day every day) Well, it was like I hadn't vacuumed for months! The Vax (when on full power) digs deep and really does an excellent job. I received this product yesterday and have used it a LOT! It is still pulling dust from my carpet and its amazing to see, the first few vacuums shows all the bits and bobs, dirt and general dust, then you find that the colour is changing as this is getting all the fine dust that has been in the carpet for months, years? The Vax ONEPWR Blade 4 Pet Dual Battery is well worth the money if you want a real deep clean. Its easy to disassemble, clean and pop back together, nice and easy. Cons? Well, the battery life is very limited if you use the brush and high power. But, you have two batteries, so not awful, its okay. The roller stops in minutes so it must be really frustrating if you have only the one battery! Review: Wow - Bought another brand it picked up virtually nothing despite reviews saying it had excellent suction and was designed specifically for pet hair (I have 2 jet black long hair cats). Returned it. Debated buying another one, once bitten, but my 8 year old Vax pet upright is wonderful so I decided to risk it, I was very concerned about having to return another one! I needn’t have worried, I did a quick test with the small pet brush and one of the half charged (as shipped) batteries, it seemed okay. Charged the batteries up and switched over to the normal brush, I went over the bedroom, landing, stairs, front room and kitchen. Emptied the vac 3 or 4 times, had to clean the brush as it was covered in thick black hair once. The results? Wonderful, lovely clean carpets, battery still showing all the bars! I am very impressed. Nice and quiet, works very well and so far battery usage seems great. The only negative, if you buy direct you get an extra pack of tools, not sure I need them, desertcart is a bit cheaper, but the main reason I bought it here is that desertcart are fantastic when things go wrong. Well worth the money, very pleased.

**Q: Will it clean up Dalmatian hair, if you are a Dally owner you will know what I mean.**
A: I have 2 Dalmatians. Their short hairs really get stuck into carpets. Having tried a comparator (s****), which was useless I bought this vax. It does the job really well. You would need an industrial cleaner for the car tbh.

**Q: Can the vax onepwr blade4 stand upright on its own ?**
A: No it can't. It comes with a bracket that it clips into on a wall in a cupboard. I have had this for a year now and can honestly say, having 2 dogs that are constantly shedding, so I have to vacuum every day in a 4 bed house, that is FANTASTIC. The battery lasts for the whole house but having a second battery charged is a bonus. I bought the accessory kit and with that it is easily the best vacuum for a car as well!

**Q: What is the Suction kpa like every other brand writes it, so we can compare or it’s just better than better?**
A: This is our first cordless vacuum cleaner. I have to say I am very impressed by the suction. Not as good as our mains Dyson but really good on hard floors.
Great to just bring it out and start vacuuming without having the pain of plugging it in and dodging around the cord.
I recommend it.

**Q: Can I get a refund even though I have used it for 2 days? Slides easily when pushing it to the front but very difficult to slide it backwards.**
A: If you can't get a refund, then either turn off the brush bar (making it just as easy to push forward or pull back) or vacuum the floor like a farmer ploughs a field, plotting a forward course over the whole area.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall cleans well, but....

Firstly, this cleaner has really strong suction power, especially on boost mode. I previously had the Vax Blade 3, which I loved. However eventually it just wore out, hence buying the Onepwr 4. Thankfully, I bought the version which comes with 2 batteries. This was a good decision. In spite of the marketing material, the battery does not last for a full clean. And I should add that I live in a 2 bedroom flat and I don't use bost on the hard floors, only the carpets. The other slight negative is the filter and dust-bin. These are not very easy to empty and again, the info material suggests not necessarily emptying the bin each clean and only washing the filter every month I think. I'm quite particular, but I think you have to empty and fully clean out the bin every time you do a full clean. I also feel its good to wash the filter every other session. However, the brush bar now releases easily with a large screwdriver (or a coin!), whereas the old one had 3 screws to undo. A good upgrade. Also the brush bar is much easier to clean (yes I also do that every session!) Hair comes off much easier. Tools wise, the nozzle is a little better as its longer, so works better in the car. The other tools are OK. Weight wise, its quite heavy on the wrist, but better than the old model and the switches are in a better position. The main thing you need from a vacuum is the cleaning power. This definitely has it. But I feel it will only maintain that capability if you keep on top of the filter, bin and brush bar! Members of my family have Dyson and Shark. In my view, the Vax is better, both on power and value.
