It is very bright white and quite pretty. The quality of the fabric is exceptionally soft, the quilting is nicely done. I feel like the weight of this bedspread will be a perfect weight and breathability for summer. I'm positive the wrinkles that show in the photos will a fall right out after it is washed. Iespecially like the oversized corners. As shown it is pulled up to the top of my queen sized bed. My mattress is 18 inches thick with a standard sized box spring. My husband is a messy (but sweet) person and I have washed it with Tide and borax several times and each time it comes out white and looks as new as the day I purchased! The weave pattern is very pretty, stitching tightly and so far has remained unraveled and perfect! We have two dogs who love to lounge on the bed and their little nails have not caught on the stitched pattern.
