After upgrading everything and adding Lithium batteries I started to have some concerns that charging/discharging certain amounts, at certain times might become an issue. With lithium batteries, charging at temps below freezing will destroy batteries. Combining this with a temp sensor, I was able to prove this blocks all voltage when reaching certain temperatures. This also took the max Amps I could produce (675A), and worked as you think it should. The VictronConnect software is very simple, but includes all of the information youd want, as well as keeps a history. You are also able to network the shunt to the temp sensor so there is no latency between decisions, or discrepancy in voltages.
