Review: Best investment I’ve made! - This has literally been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I have chronic back issues, and the cushioning, grooves, and textured surface encourage me to keep moving instead of standing rigidly in one spot. It naturally helps with stretching, shifting my weight, and improving comfort throughout the day. The thickness is perfect—it provides excellent support without feeling too soft or unstable. Even when I’m standing in place for long periods, my back, legs, and feet feel noticeably better. If you spend a lot of time on your feet or deal with chronic back pain, I highly recommend this. I only wish I had bought it sooner!

I am a dancer but I also work and game at a standing desk, so it's great being able to stretch and manipulate my feet when I'm between sessions. This is so much better than just standing around in sneakers or on a traditional mat. Being able to do that coveted stair-lift stretch brings joy to my dancer heart and relieves sore feet so much more efficiently than traditional floor stretching. The edges and the little ball in the middle have just the right amount of squishy resistance that my feet need to stay flexible and it's also great if you find you're a fidgety person that struggles standing in one spot for too long. I can stand on this thing for hours without getting foot fatigue. I will be requesting one of these at all my workplaces. I try to only buy things on desertcart that I'll plan to use over a long period of time because I care deeply about our planet and don't want to add to the growing mountains of waste in our landfills and oceans. I'm not disappointed with the quality of the materials or the thickness and can see this thing lasting a very very long time. I rarely write these kinds of reviews so if I'm here writing this - trust me. It's a good product. The only downside is that it costs so much to ship to New Zealand, and I was worried about the value before it arrived. I'm so happy with it and it was well worth the expense. **Q: what shoes does this guy have on in this picture?**
A: Hey Amanda - we reached out to the model (he brought his own shoes that day) and he has given them away and doesn't remember where he got them. They look pretty close to Clark's Desert Boots though. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful!

A: Hey Gabriel! Yes, your feet will fit on the neutral area of the mat, with a few inches to spare, which should leave room for even rather bulky shoes. Have a great weekend!

**Q: How does this compare against the cubefit terramat (currently at $99 with a 10% coupon from their website)?  i'm trying to decide between the two.**
A: The terra mat is definitely the best of the Topo imitators, so that's a great question. In my opinion, the terra mat sacrificed quite a bit to avoid infringing on our patent. My biggest qualm personally is that the two bumps on the sides have very steep walls, so they buckle when pressure is applied, resulting in an odd non-linear feel, and even potentially pinching. Their back ramp has a similar issue, but when it buckles, it sort of wraps around your foot as the side walls lean inward. Our estimate is that terra mat uses about 75% as much foam as Topo, which means their production costs are lower, whereas we made no compromises in designing the absolutely optimal mat. FYI - as you may have seen, The Wirecutter feels that Topo is the best standing desk mat as well. That's just my two cents - whatever you try - I'd love to hear about your experience!

A: Great question! Topo is made of 100% polyurethane foam. It is cushioning, but supportive.If feels like just what you would expect from a top of the line anti-fatigue mat, but it isn't flat!

I’m 6’2” and weigh 330 pounds. I recently invested in a standing desk to help reduce my sedentary habits, shed some extra weight, and get back into shape.
