Although described as "magnetic tiles" it is so much more than just that. It also contains several ball track pipe pieces that can snap into the tiles so you can make a large marble run! Our 8-yr old enjoys designing the track and assembling the pieces, while our 3-yr olds love it when they roll a marble through all the twists and turns. We also like the fact that the marbles are larger than normal, about an inch in diameter. Much safer than the typical small glass marbles in most sets.
