The legs are made of metal with adjustable feet. I like the size of 43 inches, it is able to hold 2 monitors. If you wanted to, you could leave some of the cubby holes as open shelves with no drawers too since the inside is nicely finished. Looks good with mid century design and an eiffel leg chair. I would buy Soges brand again. My only complaint is the assembly of the drawers was difficult.
