We all tried it out and found that everyone had a different tolerance level. It isn’t painful, but you can definitely feel the sensation and sometimes a slight nerve twitch where the pads are applied. The pads are very sticky and seem good quality, so they should last quite a while. The machine automatically switches off after a 20-minute session, which is convenient. During the session you can also switch between different modes such as massage and acupuncture. My dad found the massage setting the most comfortable for his sciatic pain. I was concerned it wouldn’t last long but it has continued to work effectively for over a year and helps relieve discomfort. The sticky pads last quite awhile and are easy to attach and detach.
