Deluxe soaker pad with non-woven adhesive border. Water resistant backing ideal for incision sites, pressure ulcers, and partial and full-thickness wounds. Contraindicated for third-degree burns and patients with a known sensitivity to components of dressing.

Review: Excellent Dressings For Wounds, Even For Knees! - These are excellent dressing bandages. The center is 4”x4” and the sticky part makes the bandage a total 6”x6”. I have an infection in my knee replacement, but with Coronavirus, there is no way I am going to the hospital Wound Care. I have home health nurses and I am a nurse myself. The nurses come once a week and they initially ordered these for me. I originally made an appointment at my local hospital’s wound care center and right before I was supposed to go there, Covid19 started and I changed my mind. I never considered that desertcart would have the same dressings as the Medical Supply Centers have and I am sure they are MUCH cheaper here on desertcart!!! I have quite a bit of drainage and I would be changing the dressing very often, so what I do is put a bunch of 4”x4” gauze squares over wound area and put the dressing on top of that, so I get a longer amount of time between dressing changes. If you do not have a lot of drainage, you won’t need to do that. The bandage stays put and comes off without tearing of the skin. Sometimes, where the adhesive part is on the skin might become itchy. If that happens your doctor should be notified. As a nurse, I have used many dressings and would definitely give these an A Plus!
