Haven’t used it yet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavily constructed. *by R***K on November 12, 2024* I have a similar one to this bought elsewhere. I used it to pull over a large sweet gum tree that we were cutting. Having two snatch blocks gives better options for increasing power. So, I bought this one. This new one is slightly larger but it is much heavier. I held one in each hand and this one is more heavily built. The weight is the biggest difference I can see. If weight says anything, this one must be better. When you get it tho, be ready to grease it. I'd give it a couple pumps at least. If you pump in to much, it comes out around the pulley and will get messy. While I haven't used it yet, I see no reason it won't do a good job. I just hope I don't drop it and hit my toes. It's gonna hurt. While I've used these types of pulleys with synthetic ropes, I've also used them with wire rope, steel cable, too. Just be careful that there is no curls in the wire rope and that nothing will twist. Wire rope is a little less forgiving on that. Looking forward to cutting a pine tree soon. It's almost dead anyway. I don't like where it is pointing tho.
