Review: You will not be disappointed - This microphone is actually really good I was very impressed with the sound quality the price is very worth it has a nice weight to it worked perfectly fine the sound is excellent perfect size for a studio and also easy to stay in range because the mic does it itself Review: One Of The Best Mics I Own - I own 28 mics. This is one of the best. I mostly have condenser mics and a few dynamic mics. This is my only tube mic and the only mic I have with it's own power supply. The difference is both noticeable and significant. The mic has a boost in the high end and adds gentle harmonics. I've used it mostly for live shows through outboard gear (preamp, EQ, and compressor), and it sounds amazing. I place the XML in my top 3. ## Features - Vintage Tube Sound - Large Gold diaphragm condenser capsule - Complete microphone system with Mogami XLR and Tube Cables included - 24 carat gold plated grill ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000HQXT3C | | Antenna Location | Singing, Streaming | | Audible Noise | 22 db | | Audio Sensitivity | 54 db | | Best Sellers Rank | #58,714 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #554 in Multipurpose Condenser Microphones | | Brand | MXL | | Built-In Media | Microphone | | Color | Black with Gold Accents | | Compatible Devices | XLR | | Connectivity Technology | XLR | | Connector Type | XLR | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 77 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | gold | | Frequency Response | 15 KHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00801813081190 | | Impedance | 200 ohm | | Item Dimensions | 16 x 12.5 x 5.5 inches | | Item Highlight | Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone, Black w/ Gold Accents - 47mm x 218mm/1.85 in x 8.58 in (MXLV69MEDT) | | Item Type Name | Tube Microphone | | Item Weight | 10.3 pounds | | Manufacturer | Marshall Electronics | | Mfr Part Number | V69 MEDT | | Microphone Form Factor | Microphone System | | Model Name | Mics MXL V69M EDT MOGAMI Edition Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone | | Model Number | MXLV69MEDT | | Number of Channels | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Polar Pattern | Unidirectional | | Power Source | External Power Supply | | Recommended Uses For Product | Singing, Streaming | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 72 db | | Special Feature | XLR | | UPC | 801813081190 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year from date of purchase. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MXL - **Color:** Black with Gold Accents - **Compatible Devices:** XLR - **Connectivity Technology:** XLR - **Connector Type:** XLR - **Included Components:** Microphone - **Model Name:** Mics MXL V69M EDT MOGAMI Edition Large Diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone - **Polar Pattern:** Unidirectional - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Singing, Streaming - **Special Feature:** XLR ## Images ![Mics MXL V69M EDT MOGAMI Edition Condenser Microphone - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71tpKdgP9XL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You will not be disappointed *by G***E on August 8, 2026* This microphone is actually really good I was very impressed with the sound quality the price is very worth it has a nice weight to it worked perfectly fine the sound is excellent perfect size for a studio and also easy to stay in range because the mic does it itself ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One Of The Best Mics I Own *by F***O on December 30, 2025* I own 28 mics.
